Can polarized glasses give you a headache?
I get headaches and nausea while wearing polarized lenses. The polarized lenses that I have tried were from reputable manufacturers of sunglasses.
Other ordinary sunglasses would prevent the ultraviolet light and polarized light. The traditional glasses just make your vision dimmer, yet this could be hazardous. Frankly speaking, qualified polarized sunglasses won’t cause any headache problems. Yet unqualified ones may cause headache, blurry vision and eye strain. I am afraid that you should confirm whether your polarized sunglasses are qualified or not.
What Can Cause Dry Burning Eyes?
If you experience dizziness or nausea when wearing your new glasses, it’s likely that you’re also coping with depth perception issues. You tend to feel grounded and stable as you have a natural understanding of your system and how it pertains to the area around it. I ski in goggles 80% of that time period, but resort to inexpensive sunglasses, UVB/UVA, rather than found an appreciable difference from the expensive ones. Being truly a contact wearer, sunglasses tend to make my eyes water at high speed.
Sunglasses protect your eyes from wind, dust, and debris.Wearing sunglasses protects your eyes from wind, dust, which keeps them moist and comfortable. If you’re a lens wearer, sunglasses could keep your contacts from blow drying. Pampering yourself with polarized lenses allows your eyes to experience the comfort and rest that they desperately need.
It’s like another layer of protection that blocks the glare that could go to your eyes. You can say that it doesn’t receive the horizontal light.
Of course, what is important is that you wear sunglasses when spending time outdoors. This may be late but I also get headaches from polarized sunglasses. I had a set of Raybans and my headache went away when I took them off. I was in sunlight and I started obtaining a major pressure headache and once I took them off, my headache started going away. I think their may be a connection between polarized sunglasses and headaches. The glasses fit perfectly and they actually felt like I wasn’t wearing anything, so it wasn’t discomfort from the glasses.

Being truly a very sensitive part of your body, when you expose your eyes too much time to the sun, the risk for different eye diseases is increased.
